What is VPS Hosting?

VPS hosting (Virtual Private Server) is a form of hosting where a single physical server is divided into multiple virtual servers. Each virtual server has its own resources and operating system, providing clients with more control, flexibility, and scalability compared to traditional web hosting.

What is the difference between a KVM VPS and a dedicated server?

A KVM VPS is a virtual server that runs on a physical server shared with other virtual machines, offering dedicated resources and isolation. In contrast, a dedicated server is an entire physical server dedicated solely to one user or organization, providing complete control over resources and configurations without sharing with other users.

How long does it take to activate my VPS server?

VPS Hosting servers are delivered within 24 hours, depending on stock availability. In general, it takes less.

Are there any fees for data transfer or exceeding bandwidth limits?

For all our VPS Hosting locations, we provide unlimited bandwidth. Our resources are considered "unlimited/unmetered," which means you won't be charged based on the amount of bandwidth used. However, please note that excessive usage of traffic and network bandwidth by customers may result in automatic bandwidth limits being applied. If you require 100% of network bandwidth, we recommend considering our Dedicated Servers as a suitable option.

How many IP addresses are included with VPS? Can I have additional IP addresses?

By default, your server will be activated with 1 IPv4 address and several IPv6 addresses (/126 or /125 subnet). During the order placement, you have the option to choose up to 2 IPv4 addresses. If you require more IPv4 addresses, please contact our Sales department, and we can activate up to 4 IPv4 addresses for a single VPS server.

Is it possible to upgrade my KVM VPS Hosting?

Yes, it is possible to upgrade or downgrade your KVM VPS without the need for operating system reinstallation or downtime. Simply reach out to our Sales department, and we will assist you with the upgrade of your server.

Which operating systems are available for KVM VPS hosting?

You can choose from Ubuntu 18, 20, or 22; Debian 10, 11, or 12; AlmaLinux OS 8 or 9; Rocky Linux 8 or 9; CentOS Stream 8 or 9; and CentOS 7.x. Is there a trial period available for KVM VPS hosting?

How can I manage my KVM VPS?

You can start, stop, or reboot your server, perform unlimited reinstalls, reset the root password, and access the HTML VNC console. Please note that the control panel may not be available for some already activated VPS servers and servers in Singapore and Moldova. However, our technical support is available 24/7 to assist you with any server-related needs or to provide VNC console access upon request.
